David Furney

David Furney has been a Vermont resident since 1977 and has 30+ years in sales, development & financing of real estate, nationally & within Vermont. He was recently chosen for the inaugural class of the Northwestern Vermont Board of Realtors [NVBR] Leadership Program. His background includes:

• Proven negotiator & facilitator
• Extensive knowledge in construction & construction management
• Prior experience as a town & regional planning commission member
• Community involvement on various non-profit boards
• Prior Executive Director of 'Frog Hollow' ~ the VT State Craft Center System, with locations in Middlebury, Manchester & Burlington

David is a graduate of Middlebury College and has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, and a Masters in City & Regional Planning, also from the University of Pennsylvania. He has four children involved in skiing & ski racing and currently lives in Bristol.
