Richmond, Vermont

The National Historic Landmark Old Round Church, a 16-sided church built in 1813 is the one site Richmond is most known for. It is often called the Richmond Round Church and people visit from all over the country just to see this magnificent and exceptionally well maintained relic. This is thought to be one of the first community churches in the United States. Richmond lives in the foothills of the Green Mountains in the Lake Champlain Valley. The Winooski River and Interstate 89 both run through the town from east to west.
