Hinesburg, Vermont

This attractive little town is nestled at the edge of the Green Mountains and is 15 miles southeast of Burlington. A ten mile drive will take you to the shores of Lake Champlain. Since its charter in 1762 this town has flourished with agriculture and early water-powered manufacturing. Today, the town center is still surrounded by pastures of rolling green farmland along the LaPlatte River banks. State Highway 116 runs through Hinesburg passing homes, stores and services. Many new homes have been built here in the past five years.
