Hardwick, Vermont

Often referred to as “the gateway to Vermont's magical Northeast Kingdom," Hardwick is a center of commerce for this region's farming population. Hardwick’s majestic panorama includes over 40 different lakes and ponds.

This small town is located in the western section of Caledonia County. The Lamoille River runs through it as it follows Vermont Route 14.

Fly-fishing spots and kayak launch points are a major attraction in this area as well as the popular Mackville Beach. Hardwick is also home of exceptional hunting and a variety of trails for hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling.

Farmer’s markets, annual spring and fall festivals, parade and many summer performances by the Craftsbury Chamber Players provide opportunities to form close community ties.
